The SkinHealix Difference

Through the revolutionary use of hydrolyzed plant collagen and the perfect blend of hyaluronic acid, your periorbital skin evenly absorbs water at a highly elevated rate. This revitalizes the skin’s outer layers leaving it feeling softer, looking smoother, and glowing with a hydrated radiance. Catechins derived from white tea reduces damage from free radicals and inhibits enzymes that degrade collagen and elastin, slowing the aging process and restoring the firmness and smoothness of your skin.

How To Use

Thoroughly cleanse face. Open foil packet, remove transparent masks and place under eyes. Soothe the mask gently with finger tips to ensure good contact with skin. Remove after 10 to 20 minutes. Key Ingredients & Their Functions

  • White Tea Extract: White tea is derived from the sun-dried buds and leaves of the plant Camellia sinensis. It is a two-forked sword preventing skin damage as well as rejuvenating the skin. Catechins or polyphenols, the antioxidant found in tea, is maximum in white tea as it is the least processed tea when compared to black tea and green tea. This antioxidant protects the skin from free radical induced damage which promotes wrinkles and uneven pigmentation. In addition to this, white tea extract inhibits the wrinkle causing and firmness reducing enzymes present in skin called the matrix metalloproteinases (MMP). All skin types contain these MMPs and its healthy. But, these increase with age and destroy the two key components of skin, the collagen and the elastin. White tea extract inhibits these enzymes gobble up collagen and elastin and render the skin forever young and fresh.
  • Hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans: These bind water efficiently and increase depth hydration, improving the elasticity and firmness of the skin. They are easily accepted into the skin because of their positive charge, and can moisturize the skin, as well as improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily minimizing the depth of wrinkles on skin.
  • Arbutin: Arbutin is glucosylated hydroquinone, derived from the leaves of fruits such as bearberry, pear and cranberry. It is an excellent skin lightening agent as it releases hydroquinone which competitively inhibit the melanin synthesizing enzyme tyrosinase. It thereby reduces age related spots and hyper-pigmentation. The advantage of arbutin over other skin lightening agents is that it releases hydroquinone slowly by hydrolysis and therefore it is less irritating.
  • Mt. Lily Extract: It is a natural moisturizer which hydrates the skin and at the same time balances its natural oil content.
  • Tocopheryl Linoleate: Tocopheryl linoleate is an ester of tocopherol and linoleic acid. Tocopherol or Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin. This versatile vitamin acts as a natural skin conditioning agent and helps to maintain the skin’s oil balance. It also serves as a natural antioxidant and helps to protect the skin from ultra violet light, pollution and many other harmful elements. Consequently, it keeps wrinkles at bay, can be effective at preventing unsightly stretch marks and reduce the appearance of age spots. Linoleic acid is a polyunsaturated omega 6 fatty acid. Though our epidermis is highly active in lipid production, it cannot synthesize linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid and these must be supplemented by diet or topical application. When applied topically, it contributes to the formation of ceramides on the skin’s surface, maintaining epidermal barrier function and hydration to prevent age-related drying and flaking. In addition, linoleic acid is a precursor for the synthesis of gamma-linolenic acid, which provides welcome relief from inflammatory skin conditions like eczema and acne.
  • Hyaluronic acid: A naturally occurring polysaccharide, hyaluronic acid can absorb 1000 times its weight water and deliver it to the skin. However, our ability to produce hyaluronic acid decreases with age and must be supplemented in skin care products. It revitalizes skin’s outer layers so they look and feel softer, smoother, and, glowingly hydrated to instantly improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Hydrolyzed collagen: Hydrolyzed collagen consists of water-soluble peptides of various molecular weights which are rich in the amino acids found in collagen, including glycine, L-proline and L-hydroxyproline. It enhances the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness.
