Manganese Gluconate removes deposits of chelated iron from tiny ruptured blood vessels that causes darkening around the eye area. Our patented pentapeptide converts the skin pigment melanin from its dark eumelanin form to the lighter pheomelanin form. The third dimension involves our proprietary peptides which stimulate elastin production for greater skin resilience and tone in the eye area and plant collagen and hyaluronic acid for firmness.

How To Use

Gently apply a small amount under and around the eye area. May be applied to upper eyelids. Use twice daily. For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of eyes.

• Manganese gluconate: Manganese gluconate removes deposits of chelated iron from tiny ruptured blood vessels that causes darkening around the eye area. Manganese is a key component of manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD). MnSOD neutralizes free radicals which otherwise damage cell membranes, mess with genetic material, and contribute to the aging process. A 2011 study on mice at the University of Kentucky’s Graduate Center for Toxicology found that MnSOD had a critical role in preventing mitochondrial DNA damage caused by exposure to UVB radiation. This study, along with similar studies, proves that MnSOD is a powerful antioxidant that can protect the cells from oxidative stress and photoaging.
• Olive Extract: Olive extract is an excellent antioxidant. According to a study published in a 2008 International Journal of Cosmetic Science, olive leaf extract and an active constituent of olive leaf, called oleuropein reduced reddening of the skin, dehydration and blood flow to the skin better than vitamin E. The extract and oleuropein also slows melanin production and inhibits an enzyme that breaks down skin tissue.

• Wine Extract: Due to its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, applying red wine topically on the face clears the pores, fights acne and prevents future breakouts. It is packed with antioxidants like flavonoid, resveratrol and tannin which help fight aging by restoring collagen and elastic fibers. Red wine also contains polyphenols which bring a glow on the face.
• Lotus Extract: The lotus is full of compounds that benefit the skin, including antioxidants, flavonoids, fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. It minimizes the appearance of pores, marks and blemishes on the skin, conditions and hydrates it and helps make it firm and tighter. It also contains natural alpha-hydroxy acids that help exfoliate and restore a youthful look. Linoleic acid in lotus is beneficial for skin texture and complexion.
• Titanium dioxide: Titanium dioxide, an inert earth mineral, is an excellent sunscreen active suitable for sensitive and redness prone skin. It is great to be used around the eyes as it is highly unlikely to cause any stinging. It protects the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. Its high refractive index makes it a popular ingredient in whitening formulas as it provides a bright reflection. It is also considered an effective opacifier.
